Dancing With The Stars week 5 Brandy and pro dancer Maks Chmerkovskiy finally get on top of the leaderboard. During the video of their dances in review, Maks is shown telling Brandy to have more confidence...viewers must be thinking that his slap fest couldn't have helped Brandy's confidence any. And also the enjoyment of watching their dance. There was an intro video showing Brandy and Maks are friends...their dance this week was to the Friends tv show theme song. Their dance had a lot of running around, but the judges liked it.
On the other end of the pack was Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas, doing hey, hey the Monkeys in monkey suits. Bristol was off in her timing. Len said he wanted more of the monkey suits - they took them off after a bit. He said he meant it as a compliment...Three 6's for Bristol.
On the other side, Len said Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough did too much fluff in the beginning, and should've done more of the dancing. ...So if you know you gotta change something up and improve your technique if Len says he wants more fluff. Jennifer and Derek dod the music from the tv show "Married With Children".
Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer - an entertaining pair again. Lacey mixed in the 70's disco moves with their dance routine to "Charlie's Angels". Len didn't like it...of course. It was really entertaining though..a not so easy task considering their music was soo slow and monotonous. Lacey brought in Chelsie Hightower and Kym Johnson as Kyle's Angels during their dance practice to help him out with the technique side of things.
Another entertaining pair with a different approach to it, Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas. They danced to "The Brady Bunch", dedicated to Robert Reed. Len said he wanted to be as sexy as Florence, it got him a kiss from her. During their dance practice, they brought in Barry Williams, aka "Greg". Barry cut in Florence's and Corky's 'wraunchy' dance and danced some spins himself with Florence, joking that Corky is way too young for her, younger than Bobby (Mike Lookinland). Florence doesn't shy away from the rumors, laughing that she won't confirm or deny the relationship rumors the two had back in the day on the set.
Tony Dovolani tried to get Audrina Patridge comfortable with the sexy dance routine and moves by telling her Richard Gere told him that the secret is to eat an onion or garlic and then you don't think about being uncomfortable about the moves, but think about your bad breathe when you're so close to your dance partner. Tom Bergeron joked Tony got punked. Audrina actually tried it, with onion. Their dance was to "The Hills" theme song. But Audrina needs to go for the dance with more passion like Bristol does...more like her first dance of this season which was much more on target.
Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya did their dance to "Bewitched" - as host Tom Bergeron pointed out, Kurt was playing the first Darrin.
Rick Fox introduced Cheryl Burke so some guys on the basketball court that know him well, so that she gets to know more how he works, and learns. Rick and Cheryl did the rumba to "Hill Street Blues", playing police officers, Cheryl still in her 4-inch heels.
David Hasselhoff was announced to be on Tuesday's DWTS elimination show. Dancing? Singing? Maybe a promo video on a new tv show?
