Summit Gymnastics Academy (Hot Springs, Arkansas) is hiring Coaching Staff for our USAG Competition Team. SGA is located in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas, surrounded by three breathtaking Lakes, National Forests and also known nationally for the "Best BBQ" around, just ask former President Bill Clinton. This position is open to athletes with competition experience. The Head Team Coach will be responsible for managing the competitive team program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Teaching gymnastics at a competitive level 25-40 hours/week Manage the program for outstanding quality and consistency Advanced technical knowledge of the sport of gymnastics through level 10 Exemplify excellent leadership Provide top customer service and parent communication Ability to be a team player Attend professional growth opportunities Attend competitions during the season (some travel is required) Requirements of our Candidates – We do understand that you have to start somewhere, and we are willing to offer the position to any candidate who exemplifies their skills and management ability as having been a gymnast and was active in competition. 3+ Years of coaching competitive level gymnastics OR a history as a gymnast on collegiate level 2+ Years of customer service experience 1+ Year in a supervisory capacity Experience growing and maintaining a quality gymnastics program Gymnastics background is required, highest level taught will vary by gym location Maintaining certification with USAG and following all guidelines pertaining to USAG Salary Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
