Based in Sacramento, the California Rush Soccer Club is a non-profit youth soccer organization established to provide an unparalleled athletic experience through the game of soccer. An important part of this experience is to promote personal growth for youth players, professional coaches and volunteers alike. The California Rush is formerly known as Capital Valley United (CVU) which became a recognized club within the Capital Valley Youth Soccer League (CVYSL) in 1997. On January 11, 2006, the Capital Valley United (CVU) board of directors unanimously voted to become the California Rush Soccer Club. California Rush Soccer is committed to providing an unparalleled soccer experience for all who have interest in the game of soccer. The Rush promotes the spirit of sportsmanship, the electricity of competition and the importance of pure enjoyment. The Rush accepts the responsibilities of teaching life lessons to our athletes to further their development inside the game and out. The Rush is committed to making soccer a pleasant, safe and rewarding experience for everyone involved, regardless of age or ability.
