Learn Gymnastics, Get in Shape, & Have Fun!!!
All while supporting the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School (CRLS) Varsity Gymnastics Team!
Our Founding Purpose:
The purpose of Cambridge Community Gymnastics is to:
1.Provide an affordable, safe opportunity for the members of the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School (CRLS) Varsity Gymnastics Team to participate in gymnastics year-round;
2.Provide an affordable, safe opportunity for City of Cambridge youth ages nine to 17 years old to learn gymnastics - to inspire the next generation of CRLS athletes;
3.Raise money to support the CRLS Varsity Gymnastics Team.
Additional Goals:
We also have the additional goal of providing a safe opportunity for anyone over the age nine in the Greater Boston Area to learn and benefit from gymnastics. We want to break the stigma that gymnastics is only for little girls, and show that everyone can enjoy participating in the sport, regardless of age, gender, experience, or ability. We see gymnastics as a powerful tool that can be used to help everyone engage in fun physical activity at any age.
Gymnastics for Everyone, Forever!
Cambridge Community Gymnastics (CCG) is a fundraising program for the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School (CRLS) Varsity Gymnastics Team. All proceeds go directly to help support the high school's team - to subsidize the cost of uniforms, pay for extra coaching staff, and purchase equipment, mats, and gear.
We primarily offer Adult Gymnastics Classes and Open Gym time, at MIT's duPont Gymnasium in Cambridge, open to ANYONE ages 9 to 99 who wants to do gymnastics – All levels and abilities are welcome!
Our Philosophy:
1.Be safe,
2.Have fun,
3.Learn gymnastics!
Come join us!
This program is supported by the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School (CRLS), Cambridge Public Schools (CPS),
the City of Cambridge, & the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
