Guild Gymnastics in Dalton (36 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, TN) has immediate openings for an experienced and highly knowledgeable USAG certified Lead Team Coach to help partner with us in our commitment of a raised standard and high expectations in all aspects of our programming. The Lead Team Coach will need strong knowledge of compulsory routines, optional requirements, and the ability to coach all events and like discipline and structure. This person will assist the Team Director in guiding compulsory and optional team and assisting coaches. They will attend Gymnastics Competitions during the competitive season 1-2 weekends per month from November-May. They will also need to be able to coach and assist in recreational classes. We are looking for coaches who are eager, enthusiastic, like discipline and structure and can work together as a member of a team to help maximize the potential of our gymnasts. This is a part time position from 9-15 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary based on experience. Position Requirements: 2+ years of coaching experience with competitive levels 1-10 and Xcel Current USAG Professional Membership, Safety Certification and Background Check Adaptability and flexibility to Guild’s policies, ideas and curriculum Ability to communicate well with others, both co-workers and parents Must be able to fit in as a part of our coaching team Must be able to perform independently, and also as part of a team. Must be able to spot beginner to advanced skills Must be willing to work week nights and some Saturdays Ability to create lesson plans, follow the curriculum and rotation schedule
