Massage beneficial after exercise/sports,muscle recovery,prevent injury,damage,pain

This is definitely true. Of course, massages are incredibly expensive - but they do make a big difference when you are training hard. Hint: go to a massage school to get a massage from a student in training. They are usually about $30 instead of $100+
