The No. 4-ranked California women's water polo team saw a great run come to an end, falling to No. 1-ranked and host Stanford, 10-7, in the finals of the Stanford Invitational, Sunday, Feb. 7 at Avery Aquatics Center. The Golden Bears (9-1), led by sophomore Emily Csikos' three goals in the title match, had won their first nine matches of the season before losing to the top-ranked Cardinal in the championship of the Stanford Invite.
