The No. 11-ranked California volleyball team (2-0) defeated Manhattan College (0-2) in three sets, 25-8, 25-15, 25-7, in the final match of the 2010 Cal Molten Classic on Saturday, Aug. 28, at Haas Pavilion. Junior outside hitter Tarah Murrey was named the most valuable player of the tournament as she led the Golden Bears with 11 kills (1e, 23att, .435) and 14 digs.
