The seventh-seeded California volleyball team (30-3) defeated sixth-seeded USC (29-5) in three sets (25-14, 25-17, 25-20) on Thursday, Dec. 16, in the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship semifinal at the Sprint Center to advance to its first-ever national championship match.
