Running in one of the most competitive fields ever for a regular-season meet, Cal's 10th-ranked women's cross country team placed seventh at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational Friday behind a third-place individual performance by Deborah Maier. The Golden Bear men were 25th overall and paced by Collin Jarvis in 61st.
