Another 3-peater at the 2012 London Olympics - there was swimmer Michael Phelps and his double three-peat, volleyball pair Kerri Walsh Jennings/Misty May-Treanor won gold three-peat, and now the fastest man in the world 25 year old, 6' 5" tall Usain Bolt double three-peat Olympics gold in the 100 meter and 200 meter. In the 200 meter he was joined with his training partners, gold/silver/bronze for Jamaica. Bolt won at 19.32 seconds, Yohan Blake won silver with a time of 19.44 seconds, and Warren Weir won bronze at 19.84 seconds.
Bolt did his trademark Bolt pose after his win - there is a photo of Prince Harry doing the "Bolt" too, and the U.S. women's gymnastics team too...and a lot of other people...Bolt is like "The Situation" from Jersey Shore - he knows some good PR!
Bolt is the first runner to keep two titles since Finland’s Lasse Viren won the 5,000 meter and 10,000 meter at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. In the 100 meter run final on August 5th, Bolt set an Olympic record with his run of 9.63 seconds.
[QUOTE]“This is what I wanted and I got it,” Bolt said in a televised trackside interview. “I’m very proud of myself.”

“I know my coach is probably going crazy right now,” he said of the Jamaican medals sweep. “We’ve been working hard all season and we’ve pushed out each other.”
