In one of the longest dual matches of the year, the No. 10-ranked California women's tennis team (13-4, 1-1 Pac-10) was narrowly edged in a 4-3 decision by No. 23 Arizona State (12-3, 4-1) at the Whiteman Tennis Center on Saturday, March 27. The Sun Devils were able to wrestle the doubles point away from the Golden Bears for just the second time in 17 matches and rode out the marathon match to their fourth conference victory of the spring.
