California men's tennis sophomores Nick Andrews and Tommie Murphy earned a 9-8 victory, with an 8-5 tiebreaker score, over Asaf Cohen and Thai Tu of San Francisco to advance to the doubles semifinal in the 2009 Battle of the Bay Classic at the California Tennis Club Friday, Oct. 30.
