No. 68-ranked California men's tennis sophomore Pedro Zerbini was named the 2009 ITA West Region's Player to Watch this week. The second-year Golden Bear completed the season with a team-high 24-9 singles record while going 13-6 in dual matches (5-1 in conference play). Zerbini also holds a 25-11 doubles record (24-11 with partner senior Geoff Chizever) and will compete in the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Doubles Championship beginning on Thursday, May 21, at the George P.
