The No. 37-ranked California men's tennis team (9-9, 1-3 Pac-10) fell in its second consecutive 4-3 squeaker to No. 21 Washington (13-7, 2-2 Pac-10) today at the Nordstrom Tennis Center. The Golden Bears were able to split the singles courts but could not secure the doubles point in one of the toughest matches of the year as No. 81-ranked sophomore Pedro Zerbini got his 20th singles win with his 6-1, 6-3 victory over No. 40 Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan at the top court.
