Susie Babos Named ITA Northwest Senior Player of the Year The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its 2008 regional award winners this week. California women's tennis senior Susie Babos was named the 2008 ITA Northwest Region Senior Player of the Year. Babos becomes the sixth Golden Bear to receive regional senior player of the year honors and the first since Raquel Kops-Jones in 2004. Regional awards winners are eligible for national honors to be announced on Tuesday, May 20.
