Mathieu, Safin advance at BMW Open (AP) Top-seeded Paul-Henri Mathieu cruised into the third round of the BMW Open with a 6-3, 6-4 win Wednesday over qualifier Gianluca Naso. Marat Safin defeated Carlos Berlocq 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 to reach the second round.
