Golden Bears Hold Off No. 25 Huskies For 4-3 Victory
Although the California men's tennis team will honor its seniors in ceremonies at next week's final home match, the players had their own senior salute today as the No. 36 Golden Bears (12-9, 4-2 Pac-10) held fast to defeat the visiting No. 25 Huskies (13-9, 1-5 Pac-10) in a thrilling 4-3 finish at the Hellman Tennis Complex. It was senior Pierre Mouillon who would do the honors when he served up an ace against No. 97 Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan on the second court to close out his match, winning 6-7(4), 6-2, 6-3 to notch Cal's fourth Pac-10 Conference win.
