Spanish tennis player Nuria Llagostera Vives was suspended for two years on Monday after testing positive for methamphetamine last summer at a California tournament. Her ban expires Sept. 7, 2015, the International Tennis Federation said. The 33-year-old Llagostera Vives now plays only doubles; She was to have played doubles with Francesca Schiavone at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford, Calif., in July, but withdrew because the Italian was not well, the ITF said.
