Chakvetadze beats Szavay for Paris title (AP) Anna Chakvetadze beat Agnes Szavay of Hungary 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 Sunday to win the Open Gaz de France. After losing the second set, Chakvetadze left the court for a few minutes to have medical treatment on her left elbow. Szavay later double-faulted to give the top-seeded Russian two match points.
