England goalkeeper Jack Butland fractured his ankle in Saturday's friendly victory over Germany and is a major doubt for the European Championship. The Football Association announced the extent of the 23-year-old keeper's injury on Sunday, adding in a statement that Butland had returned home and would miss Tuesday's friendly against the Netherlands at Wembley Stadium.
