Treviso upset Scarlets in opening Magners League weekend

They came out in the second half with more of what we expected, but the game should have been out of sight by then. We could have had a bonus point by half-time," he said.br /br /Coach Nigel Davies was criticised for not playing his more senior players, but he denied that that was the reason for the loss.br /br /"Unfortunately people will probably say we lost because we didn’t play the experienced players, but it’s not the case. Rhys Priestland is as good as anyone at the moment and we’ve seen that against Treviso," said Davies.br /br /"The team selected were good enough to win the game – if they played well. We played well in the first half, we didn’t in the second half," he added.br /br /This clip is of one of Treviso’s best tries of the match, scored by Ezio Galon. They’ve shown they’re not going to be the whipping boys in their first season.br /br /Elsewhere though, other Italian side Aironi went down 33-17 to Munster.br /span style="font-style: italic;"br /Do you think the Italian team’s being included in this season’s Magners League will add another much needed dimension to the tournament, or did you prefer it before?
