#ThrowbackThursday: Remember when Courtney Lawes decapitated Plisson?

Here’s a quick throwback to the last time England played France at Twickenham and Courtney Lawes obliterated Jules Plisson in 2015. Early on in the game France were leading until the second row enforcer lined up the flyhalf and put in this monster hit, sending the Frenchman airborne. This bone-crunching tackle sparked a mass brawl, with referee Nigel Owens eventually having to pause the game. The tackle was deemed to be legal and to Plisson’s credit he played on as the tide turned and England ran out eventual 55 – 35 winners. This is why we love the Six Nations and cannot wait for its return this weekend! Click here to view the full post More...
