A strong line out is key to a solid team performance. Without quick, clean and secure ball at the set piece, teams struggle to maintain possession and take their opportunities. The best teams excel in their ability to do something different when it matters most, so here's another from the archives, Sean Maloney’s Top 5 Sneaky Lineout Moves. Rugby is about creating and attacking space, and in the set-piece the space behind the line out is rarely covered. It's one of the areas where you can get a bit creative, find some free air and the ball is yours! However for our younger viewers, don’t try number 5 at home! Tony Woodcock’s try in the 2011 World Cup is still being talked about today. A similar move to Woodcock’s RWC try, passing the ball behind the line out left Robinson with a clear canter for the try.
