Rugby Tactics: Screened Passing Analysis
One of the most enjoyable aspects of rugby is that it's constantly changing, growing, and evolving. This presents a challenge to coaches who need to adapt every season to new tactics and/or changes in laws and interpretations. Screened passing is one of those tactics that, since being imported from Rugby League, has become “as common as a missed pass or switch”. As defenses get tighter at all levels of rugby, screened passing can be a powerful attacking weapon that teams at your level may not encounter regularly.
