Midweek Madness - Trevor Nyakane goes into Beast mode with incredible lift

Yes, it's happened again. As the Cheetahs picked up a well deserved 27-26 away win over the Waratahs in Friday’s Super Rugby clash, we saw another incredible moment from a prop at a restart. And no, this time it wasn't the Beast. Not the original anyway. In 2011 fans watched on in disbelief as Tendai 'Beast' Mtawarira held Sharks skipper Keegan Daniel up in the air as he acrobatically claimed a high restart in the Currie Cup. Daniel had to stretch to get the ball, but the Beast held him up by his shorts as his legs pointed skywards. A year later the same thing happened in Super Rugby, except that time it was with the much heavier lock, Anton Bresler. Freakishly, it happened again to a lesser extent shortly after that. At the weekend though we saw a repeat performance by a South African prop and lock, this time with young Cheetahs loosehead Nyakane, who supported big Francois Uys at a restart.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and this was beautifully executed.

If you listen carefully at around 16 seconds there's also some amusing noises coming from Cheetahs flyer Raymond Rhule, who scored twice on the night but got stuck under a Waratahs player at the ruck, and made sure everyone knew about it.
