Rugby Club Plays of the Week 2012 - Best of the June Tests

The June internationals are now a thing of the past as the northern hemisphere now takes a break, while down south Super Rugby starts up again. Here's a quick look at some of the best and worst from the June Tests, as put together by The Rugby Club.

As we all know by now, the top three southern hemisphere sides took a clean sweep against the challengers from the north, with all three winning their respective series'. In some cases it was a near thing though, and it's fair to say there were more than a few scares.

Scotland, who got their tour to an incredible start with a win over an Australian team, continued their good form to go on to beat Fiji and Samoa, and actually returned home as the most successful of the northern hemisphere touring sides. Their winning celebration is of course included here, as it was one of the funniest moments of the year.

Across the board the physicality was right up there, with South Africa and England in particular smashing each other for most of their three Tests. Two of the biggest tackles, which were featured here, are included in this week's Plays, as are a few others you may not have seen yet.

Their were dramatic wins, with Dan Carter's drop goal against Ireland in the second Test, and Mike Harris' last minute kick against Wales. Argentina also beat France with a late try. Unfortunately the second test, and perhaps the series, was very experimental for both of those sides, so perhaps not too much can be taken from the results.

Overall it's been a great few weeks with some memorable moments, and we'll continue to cover some of them that haven't been featured yet, so if you still have requests, please do get in touch.

For now, enjoy this week's Plays of the Week, with thanks as always to the good folk at Fox Sports.
