"Our scramble defence was incredible," said Welshman Gareth Delve.br /br /"We knew that if we stayed in it, we could score points. Everybody stepped up. We've got a lot of quality in our team. We believed in ourselves."br /br /Former England flyhalf Danny Cipriani kicked 20 points with his six from seven kicks, including the late penalty that won the game for the home side after a controversial call by referee Jonathan Kaplan, who had earlier missed what looked like a forward pass for the Brumbies try.br /br /For Stirling Mortlock however, scoring the first ever Melbourne Rebels try against his former side the Brumbies must have been quite special. You couldn’t have scripted it better, and with the late winning kick, the city of Melbourne are now warming to their new side nicely.br /br /The Rebels are away next week though, heading to Hamilton to face the Waikato Chiefs.br /br /centerobject height="288" width="400"param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/sMFjwL-_snE?fs=1amp;hl=en_GBamp;rel=0"param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/sMFjwL-_snE?fs=1amp;hl=en_GBamp;rel=0amp;showinfo=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="288" width="400"/embed/object/centerbr /span style="font-size:85%;"span style="font-weight: bold;"Time: /span05:00/spandiv class="blogger-post-footer"http://www.rugbydump.comimg width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/32316390-7932920986271729736?l=rugbydump.blogspot.com' alt='' //divpa href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/wMmA8qaVTDa5fZ3M8f49TjV1Ec0/0/da"img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/wMmA8qaVTDa5fZ3M8f49TjV1Ec0/0/di" border="0" ismap="true"/img/abr/a href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/wMmA8qaVTDa5fZ3M8f49TjV1Ec0/1/da"img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/wMmA8qaVTDa5fZ3M8f49TjV1Ec0/1/di" border="0" ismap="true"/img/a/pdiv class="feedflare"a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/rugbydump?a=A0IgvEI7K64:Z-aryl4y0YU:yIl2AUoC8zA"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/rugbydump?d=yIl2AUoC8zA" border="0"/img/a/divimg src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/rugbydump/~4/A0IgvEI7K64" height="1" width="1"/ More...
