Accidental or not, there were subsequently a few span style="font-style: italic;"trips/span down memory lane in the comments, with this incident from the 2003 World Cup coming up. /spanbr /br /It was England against France at Stadium Australia, a game that England won 24-7 to head into the final to face the home side. Jonny Wilkinson guided them there with a top quality 24 points of his own, including 5 penalties and 3 drop goals. It obviously good preparation for what followed.br /br /While France managed to score the only try of the game, the weather on the day wasn't great and definitely not conducive to running rugby. In the first half when England did have a decent chance, releasing the dangerous Jason Robinson out wide, it was chopped down instantly.br /br /Christophe Dominici, France's lethal try scorer in the '99 World Cup, stuck a leg out to stop Robinson as he danced his way around him and found a little bit of space. The French wing was yellow carded for the offence, proving somewhat of a turning point in the game.br /br /To add insult to injury, he never returned from the sin bin, as he'd done his leg in the process.br /br /centerobject height="288" width="400"param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/YRWesCobxvU?fs=1amp;hl=en_GBamp;rel=0"param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/YRWesCobxvU?fs=1amp;hl=en_GBamp;rel=0amp;showinfo=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="288" width="400"/embed/object/centerbr /div style="text-align: center;"span style="font-size:85%;"span style="font-weight: bold;":: Related Posts ::/spanbr /a href="http://rugbydump.blogspot.com/2011/02/jonathan-davies-trip-on-chris-ashton.html"Jonathan Davies trip on Chris Ashton goes unpunished (2011)/abr /a href="http://rugbydump.blogspot.com/2010/02/alun-wyn-jones-retained-despite.html"Alun Wyn Jones retained after trip, despite Gatland's threat (2010)/abr /a href="http://rugbydump.blogspot.com/2010/02/jerry-flannery-cited-for-kick-at-alexis.html"Jerry Flannery cited for kick at Alexis Palisson's legs (2010)/abr /a href="http://rugbydump.blogspot.com/2007/09/phil-vickey-suspended-for-leg-trip.html"Phil Vickey suspended for leg trip (2007)/abr //span/divspan style="font-size:85%;"span style="font-weight: bold;"Time: /span01:48/spandiv class="blogger-post-footer"http://www.rugbydump.comimg width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/32316390-7580684760164035143?l=rugbydump.blogspot.com' alt='' //divpa href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/kw4pKST0-s4m9o0LxHaTm6elpzg/0/da"img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/kw4pKST0-s4m9o0LxHaTm6elpzg/0/di" border="0" ismap="true"/img/abr/a href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/kw4pKST0-s4m9o0LxHaTm6elpzg/1/da"img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/kw4pKST0-s4m9o0LxHaTm6elpzg/1/di" border="0" ismap="true"/img/a/pdiv class="feedflare"a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/rugbydump?a=3lelg-4uOf0:OhevGHJX3zI:yIl2AUoC8zA"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/rugbydump?d=yIl2AUoC8zA" border="0"/img/a/divimg src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/rugbydump/~4/3lelg-4uOf0" height="1" width="1"/ More...
