September 24, 2011 was the 50th Anniversary of the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures. The Blind Judo Foundation has partner with the Association and was recognized at the Anniversary Black-Tie Gala. There were over 400 members of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and Stuntmen attending the event where Harrison Ford was presenting the first Richard Farnsworth Award. Farnsworth was an actor and stunt person and one of two that created the Stuntmen's Association. All member are members of SAG which is by invitation only.
