Pac-10 champion California placed 22 Golden Bears, including six from the varsity 8+, on Pac-10 All-Academic teams, the conference announced last week. Seniors Elena Humphreys and Lou Kinder from Cal's varsity 8+ earned spots on the first team along with senior Vanna Rocchi and junior Shay Seager from the second varsity 8+, which finished second in the grand final of the recent NCAA Women's Rowing Championships.
