The California field hockey program named senior midfielder/forward Andrea Lo its 2008 Player of the Year at its annual banquet held on March 14 at the Hall of Fame Room at Memorial Stadium. Golden Bears head coach Shellie Onstead also lauded senior midfielder/forward Ashley Glosz as the Most Valuable Player/Offense and senior defender Rachel Moffitt as the Most Valuable Player/Defense, after which the Bears bid an emotional farewell to their 10 seniors from the 2008 season.
