Bristol Motor Speedway's spring race weekend will move some two weeks or later into the season beginning next year, according to NASCAR's Brett Jewkes. Jewkes, Vice President, Chief Communications Officer for NASCAR, announced that next year's spring race weekend at BMS would be held April 17-19, ending nearly a decade-long run of mid-March dates. "NASCAR is not going to confirm anything until Tuesday, but we will confirm one thing to whet your appetite," he said in announcing the date change.
