Organizers of the Grand Prix of Houston are planning on a smoother race this season after bumps on the road course caused a series of problems last year. Helio Castroneves drove over a bump in the first turn of the second race last year and essentially bottomed out. After arriving with a 49-point lead, he left Houston with an 8-point lead.
