Kenseth edges Harvick in thrilling Duel finish (NASCAR.com)
Matt Kenseth stormed to victory in the opening Budweiser Duel qualifying race Thursday night at Daytona International Speedway, edging Kevin Harvick and Kasey Kahne in a three-wide finish and showing strength in preparation for Sunday's season-opening Daytona 500. Kenseth, a two-time Daytona 500 winner and the runner-up in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series last year, led the most laps (31) in the opening 60-lap, 150-mile qualifier. He withstood one last-ditch, last-lap pass attempt from Harvick, who had to settle for second place by a slim margin of .022 seconds at the checkered flag. Based on Thursday night's result, he'll start third in Sunday's Daytona 500 (1 p.m. ET, FOX). More...
