With seeming effortless grace and a dominant car, Jimmie Johnson won his first championship since 2010 and the sixth of his storied career. The driver, as he's done all year, saved himself from trouble (see the video below) when Paul Menard bumped his No. 48 Chevrolet, sending Johnson plummeting down the running order. And he finished ninth place to beat Matt Kenseth by 19 points in the final standings, and get one step closer to the hallowed seventh title.
