Cal Hosts MPSF Lacrosse Championship Tournament This Week California (9-7, 4-1 MPSF) hosts the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship tournament Wednesday, April 30, through Saturday, May 3, at Memorial Stadium. The Golden Bears are the No. 2 seed in the tournament and receive a first-round or quarterfinal bye along with No. 1-seeded Denver. Cal will play at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, in the second semifinal against the winner of the quarterfinal between third-seeded Stanford (9-8, 3-2 MPSF) and sixth-seeded Saint Mary's (2-13, 0-4 MPSF).
