Cal Picked 4th in MPSF Coaches' Poll California was picked to finish fourth in the six-team MPSF this season in the 2008 MPSF Preseason Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Poll. The Golden Bears, who are coming off a 7-10 overall record in 2007, trailed leader Denver, which was the conference's regular-season winner last year, No. 2 Stanford, which has won three straight MPSF Championship tournaments, and No. 3 Oregon in the poll.
