Cal Takes Part in Stars & Stripes Weekend As part of its preparations for the 2008 season, the California lacrosse team will battle the U.S. women's national teams and MPSF opponent Oregon as part of the second annual U.S. Lacrosse Stars & Stripes Weekend Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6-7, at Tualatin Hills Park and Athletic Center in Beaverton, Ore. First-year head coach Theresa Sherry, a former U.S. player, will lead the Golden Bears into exhibition matches against the U.S. Elite and U.S. Developmental teams as well as the Ducks at the event, which will feature 14 games over two days.
