Gomez makes early return to Rangers (AP) Quick-healing forward Scott Gomez made an early return to the New York Rangers lineup on Thursday against his former New Jersey Devils teammates. Gomez injured his ribs on Friday night when he crashed into the boards during a game at Philadelphia.
