Bones..........
1.) In 2002 i was n level 6 and i was training bw bhs on the high beam, well, i just kind of went crooked and landed on my leg and arm on the beam after my BHS. i felt my hand go numb and i look down to a broken finger.....my pinky finger was and L in the middle (looked kind of kool actually!) it didn't hurt, but i almsot passed out and i was carried into the hospital. 2.) A yr later in level 7 i was walking on the beam (the next to low beam-only 2 1/2 ft off the ground). i was walking flat feet and everything, but listening to another persons conversation...BAM fell off and broke/sprained my ankle! OUCH! 3.) My foot was hurtin really bad (Feb-Sept 2005)....ended up being a stress fracture on 2nd metatarsal... I worked on it forever! (delt w/ the pain--u kno what i mean!) 4.) At camp in 2005 (june) i was gettin a coach to spot me on a blind change....he missed me and my toe caught on the mat....it broke....i couldn't use it the rest of camp...it was huge!! he just said u were going too fast.... 5.) In level 9 (last yr) i was on the bars and was extra tight. i was working a like toe on bail...kind of wierd. i was trying to make it really good. then i did a really good one and in like slow motion watched my hands slip of the bar....darn it! i broke 3 metatarsals...........hahaha! 6.)welp about Feb. 2006 i felt my foot go pop (hurt reaaaaaly bad) ....the same one i broke last yr...i was like owwwww! went to doc....could barely walk...he said o its fine...just sore...... welll then i worked on it for a few months...one day at vault i felt it crack even more.....hurt really badly just when i walked so i got mad and went back to doc...again he said...its fine its fine! couldn't walk for weeks so went to another doc and he said omg its broken really badly....u might need surgery...omg there's this and this possible liz frank somethn or a nother.....ur senior yr might be oveR! ill send u back to doct. w/ results...(well it was same doc that kept telln me it was n't broken...hehe) go to this doc and he says noo nooo theyre wrong its not broken....c look! (at that moment i realized the doctor was crazy....i hauge crack and space betweent he 2nd metatrsal....i was like omg!) so my mother demanded an MRI MRI ppl callled and said she needs to get into cast right now....i was like great! so we then decided ummm lets get new doctor! and we did and went to a great doc. 30 mins away...he looked at all of the first X rays (from Feb.) and said....this had obviously been broken since Feb...i was like OMG I've been working out on a break fo a longgggggggg time! and like i just got back into light tumbling last week! im so mad at the doc! i kno everone makes mistakes but come on!!!!!!!! lol Luv always, kati lynne, L10

kati lynne, was the coach that said u were going too fast young and inexperienced? i agree, the coaches always say to go as fast and dynamic as possible - slo mo is harder.

hope you'll get there soon! I've never broken anything(just knocked opn wood), but I pulled my hipflexer 4 days b4 sectionals! I din't warm up-just competed i hurt so bad. I hyperexeten my ellbow every once in a while, but I'm so used to it that I can do it 3 min. b4 my floor routine and still compete fine.
