Me too! Taping your grips holes works good. :D
You have to be careful about your grips not coming off your fingers during your routine and make sure they have a good fit. One girl had one of her grips come off from her fingers during competition, and my coach stopped her routine, because you could get grips lock, get stuck on the bar, or something like that, dangerous. I think she said she forget her rubber bands on her grips or something, or taping her fingers to have the grip holes fit; she didn't do the taping your grips way.

It is good to use new tape each time for around your wrist, and you can re-use the tape grips part a few times (depending on how long you practice). Also, wrist guards over the tape on your wrists holding the tape grips work really good for keeping them in place!
