You can watch the 2011 Cover Girl Classic on TV right now on Universal Sports TV - 12am-2am PT. It's the top international gymnasts, senior women's competition in University of Illinois, Chicago - used to be called the US Classic. Comebacks featuring Alicia Sacramone, Chellsie Memmel, and Shawn Johnson - it's Shawn first competition after 3 years off. Alicia and Chellsie look like they lost a lot of weight, perhaps they can spend more time on conditioning now and less on college? Alicia added floor to her mix of events - so now it's vault, beam, and floor. Comebacks looking great in the competition. Is it just me or do the leos keep going higher and higher on the hips? Going for the illusion of long - or longer - legs. Or comfort? Next competition up will be the Visa Championships!

Alicia had a lot of power and height in her floor routine, and did great. She had 3 years off on that event. She did go 4 times out of bounds on her passes, but she will probably smooth that out for Visas. Her teammate Ally Raisman followed her routine and had a lot of power and height on floor too. 14.83 for her floor.
