The temperature was nearly 92 degrees outside and there was no chance of any air conditioning units being turned on in the Gymnastics Revolution gymnasium on Francis J. Clarke Circle.
If you can't take the heat then you don't belong in the gym.
In fact, the young gymnasts crowded among the seemingly endless line of mats were too busy practicing to be thinking about the heat or anything else not related to the training session.
That really seems unhealthy and unsafe. And the part "If you can't take the heat then you don't belong in the gym." - ??? doesn't make sense. not logical. making light of the situation. why aren't the air conditioning units on if they have it? to increase profit margin? now, there's something to write about also. so the kids don't care b/c they like doing gymnastics so much, they're kids. you're not supposed to overpower them just b/c you can. where are the parents? what about overheating?....
it would be nice and appropriate to have regulations that gyms must follow.
