Kristal Uzelac, back in gym competiting for her family gym
Kristal Uzelac (three-time U.S. junior champion) decided to come back to the gym, to compete for her family's gym called Uzelac Sports and Athletics, in Johnstown, Pa, as a level 10. She practices 4.5 hours a day. Uzelac: [quote]"I've been training on and off since November 2005, not sure what I wanted," Uzelac, 20, told IG. "I just decided that I really wanted to get out there again." [/quote] Her first competition is at the Parkettes Invitational in Allentown, Pa. on Jan. 28. The Parkettes gym is where she has trained for most of her elite career! [quote]Uzelac, who estimated her abilities at 80 percent, said her routines will be watered down from what they were at the elite level, where her difficult skills include a Khorkina II on vault, a double layout on floor exercise and a piked full on balance beam. Uzelac said she currently has no plans to make a return to the elite scene. "I've thought about it, but I'm not setting any goals for that," she said. "I'm just here to compete again

Here's another person that works out in her own gym! It probably works out much better for her, more laid back and like part of her home. I think Parkettes is where Kristen Maloney worked out at - her coach caught her really good on one of her missed bar release moves in competition.
