How much do private lessons cost in your gymnastics club? Two years ago the rate was $40 or $50 per hour, depending on the coach. Last year it was $50 or $60 depending on the coach. And now it looks like some of the coaches are raising it another $10/hour; one coach I heard is now charging $70/hour. They do get nice raises, huh. It used to be that the $70+ rates were reserved for the millionaire rich clients that were new to the gym, guess you would call that extortion. $10 of the fee goes to the gym for using the gym, the rest goes to the coach. I asked a friend that goes to another gymnastics club nearby, and they charge $50/hour for private lessons. What is it like at your gymnastics club?
