My doctor says you can get muscle atrophy after about 10 days of no practice / workout, exercise! No wonder team workouts don't get as cancelled as the rec. classes!
p.s. in case you don't know what muscle atrophy means: it means you lose muscle, etc. -> google's web definition is: "Loss of muscle fiber volume characterized by a visible decrease in muscle size. This occurs because muscles no longer receive impulses or signals from nerve cells."
