Hey, did you guys catch Carly Patterson on the new fox show, called Celebrity Duets? One singer and one celebrity sing a duet together. Carly was one of them! It was on today (Thursday) at 8-10 pm on fox, which is channel 2 here on the west coast!

...a little off key. maybe she'll get better next week, more practice --> more relaxed :D she said she practiced like 40 hrs. a week for gymnastics, she probably feels like she needs more practice for her singing :D

Starting next week it's going to be on Thursdays, then Fridays are the results shows....cuz it's going to be audience voting. ....It is a Simon Cowell show after all! Carly probably has a good fan base!

Carly's right, gymnastics is different from singing, even when they are both in a big audience. Pretty much in gymnastics your coaches say to concentrate on yourself and what you are doing, and in singing you're supposed to connect with your audience, and pay attention to them. Of course, on FX in gymnastics if you're good you will connect to the audience also!! :D

This second week she did better....it was pretty much like the 3rd judge said, still more to go! For sure she works hard at it. You can tell, she's stil a little nervous, but a little more confident also.

This third week Carly was better...she's getting better! Did you guys know she wants to make her carrer singing? That's what she said in the show! During the Nationals this year, they kept saying that Carly might come back to gymnastics. Maybe she's leaning more towards singing now.
