hey, does anyone know when the gymnastics movie "Stick it" comes out on dvd? thanks!

There's a review on Stick It on an article posted on Gym Chat news, http://gymchat.com/news.php . The direct link to the article is http://www.gymchat.com/messageboards/viewtopic.php?t=26 . The reviewer hates the movie. Interesting commentary. He says the most interesting part of the movie are the pretty girls walking around wearing skimpy clothes. And you couldn't help but watch them b/c the movie was so boring. What do you guys think?

Well, I liked the movie....though there are other gym movies I like much more..... But I still liked it although I founds parts of it rather unreal. Other parts gave me a good laugh though. I would definately buy it on DVD - it`s a gym movie after all! :D

Thanks for the link trish! Ya, it is an interesting article lol. I liked the movie, but ya there were some sort of babyish or like fake -- kind of like off the script stuff rather than feeling real -- parts to the movie. Maybe those people not too much into gymnastics wouldn't like the movie so much, and would just look at the girls in the leotards in the background instead like the reviewer said.

The dvd movie "Stick It" is out today.....it gets rated a B+ on http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/movies/285506_hotvideo19.html?source=rss , but gets called as "This Week's Hot Video: 'Stick It'".....So Jessica Bendinger wrote "Bring it On" also...lol....well, the similarities are there anyways :D .

This story is a little like "Stick It", the gym being as a good place to go instead of getting in trouble: "Choosing the right path Once-rebellious student puts his life in order" - http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2007/01/21/choosing_the_right_path/ "Stick It" did a good job of showing not getting in trouble doesn't mean being a robot - you can stick up for yourself and challenge the way things currently are too.

and in my opinion is that it was pretty good,actually.There appeared great gymnasts such as nastia liukin,allana slater,lenika de simone from spain, and more... i wanted chellsie to be there,but only nastia showed.
