The Jacksonville Jaguars have released veteran safety Sergio Brown, parting ways with him a day before players report for the team's voluntary offseason conditioning program. The Jaguars signed former Cleveland safety Tashaun Gipson in March to solidify a secondary that has been among the league's worst in coach Gus Bradley's three seasons. The team also has fourth-year pro Josh Evans and James Sample, a fourth-round draft pick in 2015, in the secondary as well as returning starter Johnathan Cyprien.
